Dorflift Kirchenlandl
LandlLively through the winter
"I also learned to ski here," an elderly lady can be heard saying to her grandson.
In front of them a manageable slope with a gentle gradient, the village lift Landl is perfect for practicing the first swings on skis or snowboard. Where as in the past, you had to work your way back up the slope under your own steam, today the platter lift takes over. There is enough space on the wide 150-meter-long piste for anyone who wants to maneuver through the winter season with a swing.
French fries and pizza
One thing in advance: neither fries nor pizza will be offered for tasting at the Landl village lift. And yet, again and again you can hear adults screaming "Pommes" and "Pizza" up the slope. Soon it becomes clear that this is about more than just a quick snack, this is about learning an art that will weld itself into your motor skills for the rest of your life. Skiing has to be learned, with fries and pizza, every child knows how to place his skis.
Germknödel remains Germknödel
Don't worry, the good old yeast dumpling doesn't have to be used for any ski position. It is and remains a unique specimen of Austrian cuisine, not to say a real permanent favorite in the stomach. The Landler Gasthauses offer all kinds of regional specialties. So that the hungry beginners of today become the full-bodied professionals of tomorrow. Tomorrow, when it's time again: "Off to the Landl village lift!
