Bäckerei Schmid
AdmontBread and pastries from Hall have a tradition
And has been for 100 years! Back in 1909, Matthäus and Maria Schmid opened the bakery, which has been run as a family business for five generations.
In 1940, the founding couple passed the bakery on to Johann and Hermine Schmid, who in turn handed it over to Johann Jr. and his wife Gertrude in 1965. In 1994, Johann went into well-deserved retirement, while Gertrude managed the "Haller-Bäck's" business until 1998. Since then, son Alfred has been the "Lord of the Dough" in Hall. Together with his wife Sigrid, he modernised the traditional business in line with the times and laid the foundation for the fifth generation with high-quality products, for son Florian, who as a trained baker and confectioner is to continue the tradition of the "Haller-Bäck's".
The baker's product range is convincing on the one hand due to the multiple awards for quality, but on the other hand also due to the variety of the assortment: in addition to the award-winning "Haller-Korn", there are several other types of bread: multigrain, Kornspitzlandler, crusty and spelt bread..... as well as biscuits, pastries, pretzels, doughnuts, Kletzenbrot and various traditional pastries fill our showcases.
