Summer program in the nature and geopark communities of Altenmarkt, Landl, St. Gallen, and Wildalpen
GeoVillage & Mountain Rescue
In the morning, you’ll embark on an exploration tour in the GeoVillage of Gams, where you will learn all about the fascinating geology of the region and explore the mysterious Kraushöhle. In the afternoon, you will become part of the mountain rescue team: learn how the mountain rescuers navigate the steep Alps to save people.

Children and teenagers aged 6 to 15 years.
The children need for the experience days: hiking shoes, possibly a rain jacket, possibly a change of clothes, headgear, possibly swimwear with a towel and sunscreen. It is important to bring a drink and a small snack, as we may not always have lunch at 12:00 on time. The events usually take place in all weather conditions. Even in the rain, we will do a small hike, which is why a rain jacket and sturdy footwear are a "MUST" for participation.
After successful online registration, there will be detailed information for parents and children regarding arrival and departure on the respective experience day. This information will be provided no later than 3 days in advance. This year, Taxi Thalhuber will ensure smooth transport.
The fee is €13.00 per child per day.
