Summer program in the nature and geopark communities of Altenmarkt, Landl, St. Gallen, and Wildalpen
Wildness Location
In Wildalpen, there is something truly special: the Styrian Wilderness Area – a place where nature is allowed to do as it pleases. Since 2021, the forest has been growing all on its own, rivers are rushing wildly, and animals feel very comfortable. Together with rangers, we explore mysterious forests, search for animal tracks, and learn why wilderness is so important.

Children and adolescents aged 6 to 15 years.
The children need for the experience days: hiking shoes, possibly a rain jacket, possibly a change of clothes, headgear, possibly swimwear with a towel and sunscreen. It is important to bring a drink and a small snack, as we will not always have lunch on time at 12:00. The events usually take place in all weather conditions. Even in the rain, we will go for a short hike, which is why a rain jacket and sturdy footwear are a "MUST" for participation.
After successful online registration, parents and children will receive detailed information about arrival and departure on the respective experience day. This information will be communicated no later than 3 days in advance. This year, Taxi Thalhuber will ensure smooth transportation.
The fee is €13.00 per child per day.
