Niklasdorf

The "Mugel" is a mountain and is suitable for long hikes, mountain runs, mountain biking and in winter for ski tours. Depending on the starting point, there are 600 to 1200 meters in altitude to overcome.

The Mugel refuge, located at an altitude of 1,632 meters and in the Gleinalpe mountain group, was built in 1904 and later received the name of the meritorious section head Jakob-Hans-Prosl. The shelter is owned by the headquarters of the Austrian Tourist Club.

The new shelter is also ideal for celebrations of all kinds.
