Identity, Life Story, Clothing preferences of older women, and a whole new, tailored method of biography work are the focus of this book. The third edition of the book is now published with 50 women’s biographies from the clothing box exhibitions in Bad Erlach, Vienna, Grundlsee, and Bad Ischl.
Elisabeth Baum-Breuer (Dr. phil.) was born in 1955 in London, grew up in Oxfordshire in an Austrian emigrant family, and has always spent her summers in Salzkammergut. She was trained as a social worker in London and Vienna and studied educational sciences at the University of Vienna, where she received her doctorate on “Transnational Adoptions and Life Courses.” Her many years of ongoing work in social work, teaching, and research both nationally and internationally are now enhanced with new professional experiences. These include working with her therapy dog “Scarlet” in a group of individuals suffering from dementia, and as a curator of exhibitions related to the “clothing box” theme.
