Special exhibition: ‘55 years of Mr Olympia’
ThalFrom the first victory to the legend: Mr. Olympia becomes an experience in Thal.
The special exhibition ‘55 Years of Mr Olympia’ at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum in Thal near Graz takes visitors on a fascinating journey through Arnold's bodybuilding career in the Graz Region. Until the end of October, it will be showing special exhibits - including historical trophies, original photos and training equipment.
The focus is on the moment when Arnold won the title of Mr Olympia for the first time in 1970. This was the beginning of a worldwide success story. The exhibition focuses on these years, with lovingly prepared details and multimedia elements.
The museum is located in his birthplace in Thal, just a few minutes away from Graz. It is the only one of its kind in the world and is supported by Schwarzenegger himself.
It is open Friday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10:00 to 17:00. There is a lunch break between 14:00 and 14:30. The last admission is at 16:30.
The atmosphere feels like travelling back in time, as if you were part of an extraordinary career that began in Styria.
