If you want to experience Styria with all your senses, embark on a culinary journey of discovery to the “Genuss ab Hof” farms. Here, the door opens to a world full of authentic stories and regional delicacies.
The tours lead off the beaten track to the best direct marketers in Styria, to farms and factories where the people behind the products open their doors in person, whether in the oil mill, where the smell of freshly pressed pumpkin seeds fills the air, in a cheese dairy, where cheeses full of character are lovingly made by hand, or in the vinegar factory with hundreds of wooden barrels - each stop tells its own story.
Visitors learn first-hand how regional raw materials are turned into award-winning specialties and, of course, get to taste them. And at the end, a typical Styrian snack awaits, with regional specialties and a good glass of wine to round off the day. Every tour is an invitation to get to know genuine Styrian cuisine - and the people who are passionate about it.

The culinary journey of discovery begins with the production of fragrant pumpkin seed oil before continuing to a traditional organic cheese dairy, where special types of cheese are lovingly made by hand. You then visit the idyllic village of Rassach, which impresses with its historic farmhouses and charming gourmet store, where you can sample regional specialties.

Another highlight is a farm where over 400 wooden barrels are stored and around 80 types of fine barrique vinegars mature - an exceptional tasting awaits you here. Afterwards, a short detour takes you to a cultural and historical gem of the region before the tour ends with a traditional Styrian snack. You can also enjoy the award-winning Schilcher wines, which are among the best in Austria.
