A cozy and individual tour through the city center of Feldbach - for two, or with friends and colleagues. Garnished with appetizing stops, interesting words about cooking and enjoyment, as well as the special features of the products. A large breakfast is not necessary on this morning; the forenoon looks promising. The focus is on visits to six establishments with their samples from the kitchen and (wine) cellar, often using ingredients from producers along the culinary Vulkanland Route 66. Strolling and indulging is the motto.
Starting from the most colorful church tower in the world, you can begin the individual culinary tour every Saturday at 9 or 10 a.m. At the farmers' market at the main square, Michaela from the Obsthof Stangl is your first contact person for a vitamin-rich "Good Morning" and serves you two farmers' market rolls and two vitamin shots. A good morning for many people conjures the image of good coffee before their eyes. In the cheekily staged café Rescheria, it is served, along with fine rolls and of course with charm and accompanying stories; tea drinkers are also welcome. Pfeiler’s Bürgerstüberl in the eponymous Bürgergasse has tradition. Just as creatively as the cooking pots are arranged like chandeliers from the ceiling, so are the regional snacks served with a glass of frizzante. At the Bauernstadl, Austria's largest regional market, you can taste three types of bacon along with spirits. David tells the different stories behind them. Here at the intersection with the former Hungarian gate is the glass door to Dominik from Einfach Fitz, who was crowned the best patissier in Austria in 2013. The confectioner invites you to a sweet 3-flight in his glass factory. Just a few steps along Ringstraße lures the picturesque Altstadtgasse for a turn directly into Sissi’s Wine Bar. A selection of three DAC wines from Vulkanland will be served to you with commentary.
A colorful mix of characters showcase the advantages of their establishments and inspire for the immediate.
