A cozy and individual tour through the city center of Feldbach - for two, or with friends and colleagues. Garnished with appetizing stops, interesting words about cooking and enjoying, as well as the specialties of the products. A large breakfast is not needed that morning, the morning is promising. The focus is on visits to six establishments with their samples from the kitchen and (wine) cellar, often ingredients from producers along the culinary Vulkanland Route66. Strolling and indulging is the motto.
Starting from the most colorful church tower in the world, you can begin the individual culinary tour every Saturday at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. At the farmers' market at the main square, Michaela from the Stangl Fruit Farm will be your first contact for a vitamin-rich "Good Morning" and will serve you two farmers' market rolls and two vitamin shots. A good morning for many people is characterized by the image of good coffee before their eyes. It is served at the cheekily staged coffee house Rescheria or alternately at the City Café, accompanied by fine rolls and, of course, with charm and the accompanying story; tea drinkers are also welcome. The next stop is SEMiKIN at the main square. The next stop is the Pfeiler’s Bürgerstüberl in the namesake Bürgergasse. As creatively as the cooking pots hang from the ceiling in lustrous formations, so creatively are the regional bites served with a glass of Frizzante. At the intersection with the former Hungarian Gate, you will find the glass door to Dominik of Einfach Fitz, who was crowned Austria's best pastry chef in 2013. The confectioner invites you into his glass manufactory for a sweet 3-flight. Just a few steps along the Ringstraße beckons the idyllic Altstadtgasse to turn directly into Sissi's Wine Bar. A selection of three DAC wines from Vulkanland will be served with commentary.
A colorful mix of characters shows the advantages in their establishments and enchants with the immediate.
Vouchers: The Culinary Walk is available as a gift voucher at the municipality of Feldbach at the treasury (8 a.m. - 12 p.m.), Rathausplatz 1, 8330 Feldbach. Voucher holders can communicate their reservation directly with Michaela Stangl at 0664/2802479. An online reservation is not necessary for the gift voucher.
