The beautiful rural community of Floing covers the sunny side of the Rabenwald forest. At the very top protrudes the talc mining where the softest stone in the world is extracted, the valley and at the bottom the Feistritz winds through the district, which is called Unterfeistritz. In between are the lovely Lebing and many fruit orchards, which use the warm slopes to grow high-quality pomaceous fruit and berries.
The streams feed small ponds in which the trout keeper raises his fish, which he turns into delicate dishes. The farm brewery also uses its own grains and refines them into the "Haringer Gold", which can be tasted at the farm during the farm tour, but can also be purchased to take home. Numerous ground line landmarks, such as the "Eckzeiler Cross" or the "Stixn Cross" are milestones and monuments of faith. Frescoes by Peter Stübinger show religious and secular motifs, such as the "Strafgericht von Burg Neuhaus" [Tribunal of Castle Neuhaus], which decorates the old parlour at the guesthouse Stixpeter. Hiking trails between Anger, Lebing and the Kreilkogel connect the culinary highlights of Floing.
