Extensive walk with beautiful viewpoints of Fischbach. Accessible throughout with a pram.

This path takes us past fragrant mountain meadows, cooling forests and flower-decorated farmhouses along the little-used asphalt road through what the locals call “Mitterstuck”.

From Vienna via the A2 Südautobahn highway and the S6 Semmering expressway to the Kindberg exit. Here through the Stanzertal valley on the Schanzsattel-Landesstraße L114 to Fischbach.

From Graz via the Weizer-Bundesstraße B72 to Birkfeld and from here via the Schanzsattel-Landesstraße L114 to Fischbach.

From Linz/Salzburg/Munich via the Pyhrnautobahn A9 and the Semmering-Schnellstraße S6 to the Kindberg exit. Continue as above.

We start at the Fischbach village square and walk north along the village road slightly uphill past the Museum of Rural Crafts until we turn left after Veronika's Kräuterhof (on the right-hand side of the road) and are now on path no. 9
We follow trail no. 9 straight ahead and after a short climb through a cooling forest we come to the Hönigshof rest stop
Here we enjoy the beautiful untouched nature
After a short rest, we continue past fragrant mountain meadows, well-tended fields and flower-decorated farmhouses
After a short steep section at the Zinkhof farm, we continue on to trail no. 10, along which we walk back - with wonderful views of Fischbach - until we return to trail no. 9 to our starting point

The natural swimming pond is ideal for cooling off in summer.
