I am a Murtaler - Winterleiten toboggan run

The toboggan run is around 3 km long and winds its way through a beautiful, untouched winter landscape. It offers plenty of fun and adventure for beginners and experienced tobogganists alike. The track is well prepared so that you can toboggan down into the valley safely and at speed. The special thing about the run is that it can be started directly from the Winterleitenhütte, which makes access to this fantastic descent particularly easy. Regional and world championships in tobogganing and ice cross take place here every year.

The ascent is leisurely and takes about 1 hour from the Schmelzhütte, which has a large parking lot, along a road to the Winterleitenhütte. After the enjoyable ascent, you can enjoy a refreshment stop at the Winterleitenhütte, which is located directly by the Winterleiten lake and offers a stunning panorama.

The Winterleitenhütte and the toboggan run are not only a perfect opportunity for sporting activities, but also for families, groups or individuals who want to enjoy the wintry mountain world.

You don't need to bring your own toboggans, they are available for hire.
