This traditional railroad line has connected Carinthia with Upper Styria for over 125 years and has an eventful history behind it - from its beginnings with steam locomotives to electrification and the modern railroad. The Lavanttalbahn is far more than just a connection between two regions - it stands for progress, change and the fascination of railroads. The history of the Lavantalbahn is presented in pictures and text on 34 display boards. The exhibition is open during opening hours Thursday to Sunday from 9-16:30 hrs.
