Most navigation systems, when entering "Mitterbach 25", will guide you over a somewhat longer and complicated approach to the Wipfelwanderweg. We therefore recommend entering the address "Rachau 97" (= Gemeindeamt Rachau), as this will lead you directly in the direction of Rachau and then you can no longer miss the Gleinstraße, or the turn-off from there to the Wipfelwanderweg Rachau due to the signs.
- after 600m (Kirschbaumer crossing)
- left direction Rösslergraben
- Rösslergraben straight ahead (asphalt)
- afterwards gravel
- turn left towards Hoferhütte
- along the forest road to Hoferhütte
- Hoferhütte
- either another 50Hm to the Lenzenkreuz (see Roatmoaralmtour)
- or descent via Fuchs & Henn or Hoferhütte trail back to Wipfelwanderweg
