Flight school "Aufwind"

The flight school was founded in 1988 by Anna, Franz, and Rainer in Ramsau am Dachstein. The team – or better said, the family – can be easily described: a large, colorful community of enthusiastic flyers who are passionately involved.

Those who want to are not just flight students here, but always also part of the team. Personal interaction, more than 25 years of experience in flight training, and the impressive nature of the Dachstein region form the basis for intensive and high-quality paraglider training and further education. Safety is the top priority in all courses and trips, supported by a practical and lively teaching method. The aim is to produce responsible and independent pilots.

The team itself is like a large, colorful family and forms the heart of the flight school Aufwind – both software and soul at the same time. Some of the flight instructors have been in the air for many decades and bring valuable knowledge, real skill, and great responsibility. This experience creates an atmosphere in which everyone can feel comfortable and perfect their personal flying skills step by step. The enthusiasm is contagious – and makes every part of the Aufwind family.
