Street of Music

Along the “Road of Music”, in the Almenland and Joglland-Waldheimat Nature Park, folk culture and musical customs are celebrated in a very special way.
The 42 km long themed road stretches from Birkfeld via Gasen and on to Breitenau to Pernegg, and it brings together the diverse musical offerings of these communities. Here, customs are not only celebrated, but also developed further in innovative ways. The ringing road not only connects four communities, but also the Almenland and Joglland regions.

Numerous music-related events are held throughout the year. The “Straße der Musik” association networks these events, expands them with workshops, training courses and much more and combines them into one large project. In this way, the lived customs should be preserved and innovatively developed further.
