The business (flower shop and greenhouses) was established in 1974 by Felix and Josefine Nistl.
It began with a small greenhouse for the cultivation of cyclamen and a few bedding boxes (outdoor area) for growing young vegetable plants. By 1995, the production area had reached its current size of 1000 m2 under glass, 1200 m2 under film and 3000 m2 outdoors.
Our activities range from floristry for every occasion (wedding bouquets, flower arrangements for christenings, first communions and confirmations, as well as funeral floristry) to services (planting balcony boxes and flower beds as well as graves) and the production of young vegetable plants, bedding and balcony flowers.
Although we run a production and sales nursery in the traditional sense, we also operate in alternative ways. One of our main concerns in the field of young vegetable plants is to bring old cultivars back onto the market.
This is why we got in touch with Noah's Ark in Schiltern and now have various pepper, tomato, cucumber, pumpkin and melon varieties in our sales programme. We have been a member of Noah's Ark (seeds and seeds/preservation of biodiversity) since 2005.
In 2004, a stone circle, an Indian medicine wheel, was created on the grounds of the nursery. It is a place of power that is suitable for meditation.
