Alpakas Bratschitz in Feldbach
FeldbachAlpacas have found their home with the Bratschitz family in Oedt near Feldbach. You are very welcome to visit the alpacas and take a walk with them.
In the stable and on the large pasture area, the animals, bursting with peace, cavort. Their peaceful character is transmitted to humans. This makes a visit to the alpacas a special experience.
During a short walk in the open air in the company of the alpacas, you can therefore come to rest. The Feldbacher alpacas are registered with the Alpaca Association Austria, chipped and receive veterinary care.
Warm and yet pleasantly light and comfortable - why alpaca wool is also called the "fleece of the gods" is obvious. It can be compared in quality with cashmere. Whether vest, socks or hat - deepest, wintry temperatures cannot harm these warming accessories. Even for allergy sufferers, bedspreads or seat cushions are well suited. In addition, it has unique thermal properties related to tiny air pockets in the fiber.
In Inca times, alpaca wool was an expensive commodity and reserved only for the high nobility.
