Riegersburg Opening 2025 - enjoyment, action & history for the whole family: On April 5, 2025, Riegersburg Castle officially opens its doors for the new season - with an eventful opening event for young and old. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Thermen- & Vulkanland, a day full of culinary delights, culture and adventure awaits.

Highlights of the Riegersburg Opening 2025 at a glance:

From 10:00 a.m., the gourmet mile starts in the guest garden of the castle tavern with regional delicacies and specialties from Riegersburg's culinary experts. The museums and the historic castle smithy open at the same time.
Birds of prey flight shows (11:00, 14:00 & 16:00) will amaze visitors several times a day.
Climbing adventures on the Leopoldsteig, 3D archery and exciting adventure tours await from 11:00.
Children will also get their money's worth: Crocoland, bouncy castle, face painting and their own guided tours ensure fun and excitement.
The castle gate is ceremonially opened at 12:00 - a symbolic highlight.
Sword fights (12:30 & 15:30), a tournament fight (14:00) and live music from the house band (12:30-15:30) round off the medieval experience.
