MicroBIOm for field and plate
Strengthen intestinal health with a varied diet & organic products
Our agricultural and food system is facing major challenges. Climate change and biodiversity loss are leading to new demands on agriculture. The simultaneous increase in diet-related diseases calls for a critical examination of our eating habits. In this complex field of tension, a relatively young research discipline is becoming increasingly important: microbiome research.
Immerse yourself with us in the exciting world of the tiny creatures in and around us and learn about the connections between agriculture, nutrition and gut health. In her keynote speech, microbiome researcher Prof. Dr. Birgit Wassermann from Graz University of Technology will provide insights into the latest findings on the interactions between plants, microorganisms and us humans. Afterwards, personal fitness trainer and nutritionist Silvia Mutz, MSc., will show how a varied diet and exercise can help you stay healthy and fit in everyday life.
