The picturesque Stainz Castle opens its doors for the vintage presentation of the best wines of Western Styria. This special event, which starts at 11.00 am and lasts until 5.00 pm, promises a feast for all wine lovers and connoisseurs.
Around 20 renowned winegrowers from the region present their exquisite wines, including the popular Schilcher, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and a selection of Sämling and red wines. From refreshing white wine to fruity rosé and full-bodied red wines - there is something for every taste.
Visitors have the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the castle. You can choose between three different dates and the guided tour is included in the ticket price. Enjoy not only the culture and wines, but also the culinary delights offered by the regional innkeepers. (Four culinary vouchers are included in the admission ticket)
From 6 p.m., we invite you to round off the evening in the old castle cellar with a chill-out concert by the party band “Take Seven”. Let yourself be enchanted by the music and the unique atmosphere.
This event opens the season in Schilcherland, and everything revolves around wine, enjoyment and culture. Celebrate the start of spring with us at Stainz Castle and be surprised by the variety of West Styrian wines! The event is organized by CDM Incoming Schilcherland Event - Johann Schmuck and the Hotel Restaurant Stainzerhof, supported by local businesses from Stainz.
