Experience the tradition of tying palm bushes in the Stübing Open-Air Museum in the Graz Region.
The palm bushes are tied before sunrise on ‘Sorrowful Friday’ in the historic smoking parlour of the ‘Großschrotter’ house.
While working together, you will learn interesting facts about the materials used, as well as the shape and size, which are characterised by the regional conditions of the surroundings. We will also focus on the correct method and binding technique.
Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a traditionally prepared Sterz breakfast in the historic smoking parlour. This experience combines tradition with culinary delights and offers a unique insight into Styrian culture.
