The 4-seater Tauplitz I+II chairlift takes guests and locals comfortably and stress-free from Tauplitz to the Tauplitzalm at 1,650 meters above sea level.

Summer operation of the 4-seater chairlift:
From June 19 to September 7, 2025 daily from 08:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and from 01:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m. in good hiking weather.
About the serviceprovider
The Tauplitzalm is one of the most beautiful high plateaus with six crystal-clear mountain lakes, bright mountains and many unique alpine flowers (gentian, alpine rush, orchid species, ...).
There are numerous hiking routes and mountain tours on offer, such as the 6-lake hike from the mountain station via Großsee, Märchensee and Tauplitzsee to the Steirerseebankerl viewpoint; walking time: 1.5 hours. Those who prefer a steeper and more athletic route should definitely try the "Gamsblick" via ferrata.
