Styrian Summer Art: Reizflut - Visuals Workshop

Discover the world of live visuals! 
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of the program Resolume Arena. This can be used to visually enhance events such as parties, concerts, or readings.
You will arrange various video clips into a complete composition, similar to how a DJ mixes music tracks, and you can project them onto various surfaces using a projector. Of course, playback on a screen and control of other lighting effect technology is also possible.

We will start with the user interface and the basic functions to create your own visuals. Afterwards, you will develop techniques on how to use video clips for impressive projections and perform projection mapping. After the workshop, you will be able to edit visuals and map them precisely onto any surface – perfect for events, stages, or installations! 
This workshop does not focus on producing your own content/video clips. You are welcome to bring your own content to the workshop if available. Please note: File format: MOV. (Clips, preferably in loop)
Participation in the workshop with your own laptop/computer is advantageous. A trial version of "Resolume Arena 7" should be downloaded to your own computer before the workshop.
Beginners are welcome!

Sylvie Leiner, MA 
Diploma in Graphic & Communication Design, Master class in Art and Design – Sculpture at the Ortweinschule in Graz, Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Arts in Linz in the field of Plastic Conceptions/Ceramics. 
Working as a freelance artist since 2014. Exhibitions and artistic services in the fields of Live Visual Shows, Screen Printing, Murals. In recent years, engaged in the field of sculpture, developing spatially plastic designs and their execution in wood, plaster, ceramics, and plastics. Further specialization in screen printing and video art. 
Co-founder of the "Fliegende Meisterklasse" (2014), an artist group advocating for expanded educational opportunities in various fields of art in Graz.
Since 2017, a member of the Kunstverein Roter Keil Graz and co-founder of the mixed-media collective MANAich (with Hanna Besenhard). 
Since 2022, a member of Kunsthalle Graz.
