The story tells of Klumpat, the lovable rubbish troll, who has made it his mission to clear the forest of all the rubbish caused by humans in order to protect the habitat of his friends - the animals. Due to the growing indifference of humans and the increasing environmental pollution, Klumpat gets into big trouble.
Luckily, the two children Lilo and Lila realise what is happening to Klumpat and the forest and together with the forest dwellers they look for a solution.

The family musical is based on the book ‘Klumpat der Mülltroll’ by Bianca Rosenberger and attempts to raise awareness of the topic of waste (waste avoidance, waste separation, upcycling) for young and old in an entertaining way. In the performance, we have enriched the story with original texts, humorous scenes and specially composed children's songs.
Klumpat the rubbish troll is an inspiring role model for all children in this family musical. He stands by their side as a friend, idol and rubbish collection superhero and serves as a symbolic figure for raising awareness of our responsibility towards our fellow human beings and the environment.
