On Thursday, December 26, 2024, the Oberzeiring Show Mine invites you to a torch hike. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience the wintry landscape in a contemplative atmosphere.
The torchlight hike takes you through the picturesque streets of Oberzeiring and sheds light on the fascinating history of the former silver mine. In the glow of the torches, participants experience a special atmosphere and learn exciting details about silver mining and the lives of the miners. The approximately one-hour tour concludes with captivating tales and legends surrounding the mine, including the dramatic story of the downfall of Zeiring mining. These narratives add a mystical touch to the hike and bring the past to life.
The torchlight hike ends with a cozy gathering at the Gruamkaffee, where the evening concludes harmoniously with warm drinks and sociable exchange.
