MühlenSince excavations uncovered an entire town and the present village in the municipality "Mühlen" was given the name of "Noreia", the location of the sunken town has been hotly disputed. Sherds, coins and rings that were once found by the children in the land of Noreia and a mysterious hill that sounds hollow when you stamp on it.
What lies beneath this place of power on the hill, where you can really feel the power of the earth’s rays?
A reconstructed royal house, based on excavations and exciting guided tours provide mysterious insights into what was NOREIA - "the sunken city on the Mühlner Hörfeldmoor".
Historical forge in Noreia: Here the history of iron is brought back to life! You start in the center of Noreia and learn how iron was once extracted from ore and why a horseshoe actually brings luck? Anyone can make the iron glow himself, hammer it on the anvil and shape it, file it, grind it and even engrave its initials. With pride, everyone can take home their own forged workpiece. The children are equipped with protective helmets, real forge aprons and work gloves.
TIP: At the place of power in Noreia you can feel the earth’s rays very strongly and also enjoy a great panorama of the "Hörfeldmoor".
