The Altenbachklamm gorge in Oberhaag offers an exciting and eventful hiking experience. A multifaceted and diverse flora and fauna lie at the feet of enthusiastic hikers. Over numerous bridges, with the Altenbach stream as a constant companion, the trail leads high up through an impressive and incomparable natural landscape.

You enter the Altenbachklamm at the Buschenschank Stelzl vlg. Altenbacher. Although the forest path is pleasant at first, you soon pass the first bridge and from then on it is a steady climb. The gorge hike even leads over numerous small bridges, footbridges and ladders to an impressive suspension bridge. The combination of untouched natural landscape, adventure and exercise make a hike through the Altenbachklamm gorge a truly unforgettable experience. And as is so often the case, the efforts of the ascent are rewarded. First of all with a breathtaking view of the magnificent wine country and, how could it be otherwise in the South Styrian Wine Route region, with a delicious, hearty snack and a well-earned glass of wine at the Panoramaschenke Tertinek. The way back is very leisurely along a road with hardly any traffic. As a "treat", you can continue to enjoy the fantastic view.
