From Fischbach to St. Kathrein am Hauenstein, Fischbach

• We start at the parish hall and hike to Oberdissau
• After a short detour to the Aegydius Chapel we come to the small hamlet of Oberdissau
• We walk a short distance on the asphalt road, then we turn left in the direction of Falkenstein.
• At the wayside shrine at "Hauswirtshofer" we turn right
• From there we walk a short steep path up to the Hauswirts Höh
• From there we continue along the ridge to the right until we follow the path down to the left at the crossroads.
• When we reach the sulzbachstraße, we follow it for about 500 m until we finally turn left.
• Dort gehen wir wieder ein Waldstück steil bergauf, bis wir in wenigen Minuten das Dorf Falkenstein erreichen
• An der Kreuzung im Ort biegen wir links ab vorbei am Feuerwehrhaus und einigen Häusern und Bauernhöfen über eine Wiese in den Wald.
  
• Dort überqueren wir ein Bächlein und kommen schließlich bei den Höferbauern in Landau heraus.
• Nach einem kleinen Stück auf der Asphaltstraße biegen wir rechts in einen Steig ein und folgen diesem bis wir in St. Kathrein ankommen.
• Nach einer kurzen Rast in einem der Gaststätten biegen wir in den Eggschmiedgraben ein, den wir nach einem kurzen Stück links einbiegend wieder verlassen und bis zum vlg Hochkamper entlang gehen.
• Dann wandern wir weiter zur Waldtoni-Alm und von dort über das Schneidhofer-Kreuz nach Fischbach über den Höhenweg.
