Create your own Advent wreath at the Stübing Open-Air Museum and experience traditional customs in Styria.
The Advent wreath is one of the most beautiful traditions of the pre-Christmas season. From November 19 to 21, 2026, the Open Air Museum Stübing invites you to a special course where you can bind your own Advent wreath.
This is what you can expect in the course:
- Introduction to the symbolism of the Advent wreath: the meaning of the circle, the evergreen fir branches, and the colors of the candles
- Practical guidance on binding a wreath from fresh fir branches
- Individual design with candles, ribbons, and other decorative elements
- Tips on materials and creative design possibilities
The relaxed atmosphere of the Open Air Museum ensures a unique mood where you can experience the tradition stress-free and be creative yourself.
