Chamber Music Festival: Reinkultur II

The Chamber Music Festival: Reinkultur II on August 13 at 9:00 PM promises a special musical experience. In this second night concert in the Huldigungssaal of Stift Rein, baroque guitarist Rosa Franziska Maier will present Johann Sebastian Bach's works in an impressive reinterpretation on the guitar. Both adapted cello and lute suites by the master will be performed, leading to a moving experience.

The program includes:

• Johann Sebastian Bach: Prelude, Fugue and Allegro in E-flat Major, BWV 998
• Johann Sebastian Bach: Suite No. 1 in G Major for Solo Cello, BWV 1007 (arrangement by Tilman Hoppstock)
• Johann Sebastian Bach: Suite for Lute in C Minor, BWV 997 (arrangement by Robert Koonce)
• Johann Sebastian Bach: Suite for Lute in G Minor, BWV 995 (arrangement by Tilman Hoppstock)

The concert venue, the Huldigungssaal of Stift Rein, provides the perfect backdrop for this intimate and masterful concert in the Graz Region.
