Buchkogel-Halbmarathon, Passail
The Buchkogel half marathon near Passail in the Almenland Nature Park is for ambitious runners who enjoy running on natural trails and are not put off by the altitude.
The Buchkogel half marathon leads from the center of
Passail via the
forest and bee nature trail up to the Lindenberg. The route then follows forest and farm tracks around the 1,330-metre-high Buchkogel. Mostly in the forest, you then run along the Buchtalweg down into the Raabgraben back to the town center. After a loop around the cemetery, you return to the middle school via the ice path.
Only suitable for very good runners due to the elevation gain and the length of the route.
Many thanks to Ali Möstl for providing the track!
