More information

from direction Admont or St. Gallen B 117 Buchauer Sattel to pass summit
At the Buchauer Sattel, we first walk leisurely across the large meadow until we reach the forest, where it is partly on a sunken path, partly on the trail leading uphill through the forest, until we reach a forest road. We follow this road and below the hut the theme trail "Almlehrpfad Grabnerstein" begins, the first signs can be read and admired until we reach the Grabneralm, if we are curious we have to continue the trail towards Grabnerstein - there we learn a lot more about the alpine pasture farming of the past and now.The Grabneralm-Haus is a private refuge, which means that it does not belong to any of the alpine clubs. Nevertheless, it offers all the amenities of a mountain hut: good food and drink, overnight stays in rooms or camps, but also one or the other musical event takes place here.
connect the Grabnerstein - it is the most beautiful flower mountain in Styria and especially in May/June until mid-July a delicacy for all lovers of alpine flora
