Kunsthaus Weiz

As a transparent glass structure, the art house integrates into the historical fabric of the Weiz old town. The building (constructed 2003-2005) surprises as a "great gesture" in a small medieval setting. The building is designed with two floors, where the entire ground floor offers spaces for commerce and gastronomy. The upper floor constitutes the essential core of the art house, accommodating the event hall, foyer, and exhibition spaces. Efforts towards ecological sustainability have been honored with the Austrian environmental label.
Since its opening in May 2005, nearly 1 million people have visited the art house!

• Opening hours: During ongoing exhibitions: Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• Capacity: 100 people
