Frauenkriche Pernegg

In 1461 the pilgrimage church in Pernegg, called "Holy Mary or Frauenkirche", was built as a Gothic church. Over time, the interior was "baroque", which can be seen particularly well on the monumental columns and the noble high altar. The special feature of the church is the unusual five-story tower. Magnificent ceiling paintings and a mighty high altar with the "Pernegger Madonna" adorn the Frauenkirche.

It is particularly popular with pilgrims and pilgrims, but there are also many cyclists on the way here. The "Murradweg R2" leads directly through the village and past the Frauenkirche. Some inns are in the immediate vicinity and there are also overnight stays in town. The church tour in Pernegg, for example, invites you to go hiking.
