HWW-Hiking route: Dechantskirchen - Kroisbach/Holzbrücke (circular trail)
This HWW hiking route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.
This HWW hiking route leads from the village center via Kroisbach to Kroisbach/Holzbrücke and back to Dechantskirchen. The Iron Age and Celtic era in Wechselland is described at the HWW station Kroisbach/Holzbrücke.

Directions - By car
- via the Südautobahn (A2) to the Pinggau exit
- at the traffic circle take the 3rd exit
- along the B54 towards Graz/Hartberg
- turn left onto Dechantskirchen
The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.
- The HWW hiking route starts in the center of Dechantskirchen.
- It continues via Kroisbach to the HWW station Kroisbach/Holzbrücke.
- Then it's back to Dechantskirchen.
We recommend that you visit Thalberg Castle from the outside. There is also an HWW information board there.
