4 Elemente Tour LUFT 2 im Thermen- & Vulkanland Steiermark

Open
An eventful, somewhat challenging tour into the pleasure land of the thermal & volcanic country of Styria.
In the thermal & volcanic land of Styria, the four elements - water, fire, earth and air - have found their home. For this reason, these e-bike tours are also dedicated to the four elements.

This tour is dedicated to AIR.

Air stands for mobility and freedom - so it's no wonder that we named one of our tours after this element, since movement in the great outdoors is the main aspect of your adventure. And while you're discovering Styria's Thermal & Volcanic Land on your e-bike, you'll enjoy the fresh breeze that tastes of green meadows and lush forests. Curiosity is also represented by the element air - and you are very welcome to pursue it while exploring our wonderful region!

With the support of the federal government and the European Union.

More information

You can arrive by train to Feldbach, Takern/St. Margarethen or Studenzen/Fladnitz.  A journey by car is also possible via the A2 - Südautobahn.

Detailed information on how to get there can be found here.

We start in Feldbach and immediately tackle the most strenuous part of the route. From Feldbach to Kropfberg, you are continuously confronted with an incline. In return, you pass the pleasure triangle of the thermal and volcanic land of Styria. Those who enjoy sparkling wine, chocolate, cheese, vinegar and distillates also have to cut calories.

The second challenge in terms of altitude meters is encountered between Pöllau near Gleisdorf and Takern I.

Those who have made it this far are not only rewarded with a wonderful panorama, but also with a continuously gently descending bike course. So you roll back into Feldbach with a light foot.

A stop in Riegersburg at Zotter, Gölles and Ruotker's is highly recommended. Of course, a tour of the castle is a must.

Detailed information about arriving by ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) can be found at  www.oebb.at or on the Verbundlinie Steiermark website  www.busbahnbim.at

With Verbundlinie’s BusBahnBim route planner app, planning your journey has never been easier: simply enter towns and/or addresses, stop names or points of interest to check all bus, train and tram connections in Austria. The app is available free of charge for smartphones – on Google Play and in the App Store

Parking spaces are available in Feldbach and Riegersburg.
