Jausenstation Höhn

The Jausenstation Höhn is a traditional and popular excursion destination above Fohnsdorf. Located amidst the idyllic landscape of the Murtal, it offers hikers, walkers, and those seeking relaxation a cozy place to take a break. From the town center, the Jausenstation is accessible via the Fohnsdorfer Graben and is therefore suitable both as a destination for a leisurely walk and as a stopover on a longer hike.

Particularly appealing is its location on the Panoramarunde Höhn. This approximately 6.8-kilometer hiking route leads over varied forest paths to the Sillweger lookout tower and offers impressive views of the Murtal, the Seetaler Alps, and the surrounding mountain landscape.

In July 2026, the Jausenstation was reopened by Jennifer and Dominik Wildbolz. With its natural setting and cozy atmosphere, it is an attractive destination for locals, families, and visitors to the region.
