Since 1660, traditional baking has taken place in the historic bakery in Seckau, and for 125 years, it has been owned by the Regner family. In the cozy café, you can expect handmade Seckauer gingerbread, cakes, pastries, chocolate specialties, and homemade ice cream. Groups can experience the world of honey, nuts, cinnamon, and chocolate after prior registration with a film and gingerbread tasting.

Here, special emphasis is placed on QUALITY, REGIONALITY and EXCELLENT CRAFTSMANSHIP. Take the time to enjoy the delicious flavours of almonds, nuts, honey, cinnamon and chocolate. The gingerbread bakery now has its own confectionery, where chocolate balls with exquisite fillings, a variety of truffles, dragees, chocolates and seasonal figures such as chocolate Easter bunnies and chocolate Father Christmases are produced.

Tour groups appreciate the opportunity to enjoy a coffee snack, take part in a gingerbread tasting or watch a film about the production of the famous ‘Seckauer Lebkuchen’. We ask you to book in advance so that we can plan your experience in the best possible way.
