Biohof Hold

The farm is located at an elevation of 614 meters at the foot of the Gaberl in the Murtal region and combines tradition with innovation, sustainability, and a high awareness of nature and species protection.

Andreas Steinmetz and Magdalena Hirt run the farm with great commitment to animal welfare, sustainability, and regionality. The pigs have year-round access to the outdoors, a designated play, sleeping, and wallowing area, and even a shower area for cooling off in the summer. The animals are fed organic feed from their own fields, completely without corn, which results in particularly tender and high-quality meat. The farm operates on a "nose-to-tail" principle, processing as many parts of the animal as possible into a variety of products such as fresh meat, sausages, lard, and grilling packages.

Especially convenient is the 24-hour self-service shop directly on the farm, allowing you to purchase products easily and flexibly at any time. The organic farm Hold places great importance on stress-free and gentle slaughtering as well as compliance with the highest organic quality standards.
