Lebing circuit, Hartberg

Round trip for cyclists and pedestrians around the city of Hartberg

With its extensive fields and the town of Hartberg, which is located at the foot of the Ringkogel, the Hartbergerland offers a tranquil setting for hiking and cycling tours all year round. The landscape is on the whole quite flat and is therefore suitable for leisurely tours with numerous opportunities to stop for refreshments, for example in the old town of Hartberg. You get to culturally important places and also get to know the history of the town better along the way. In addition, you can walk through the Hartberger Gmoos, a large natural area that is a Natura 2000 partner.

Hartberg, recreation center (HERZ)

Start in a south-easterly direction, past the Durmont company, then the trail leads along the railway tracks into the Hartberger Gmoos. At the fork in the road Safenauer Straße turn left and after the Buschenschank Postl turn right towards the Ökopark. This takes you to the main road, where you turn right. Opposite you will see the Grabner company. The subway finally brings you to the Lebing Church. From there the path continues to the B 54, where you pass the road before the roundabout and take the path towards the centre. At the crossroads by the Hartberger Bierstube, turn right to get back to the HERZ.

After the tour, why not visit the HERZ, Hartberg's recreation centre with its outdoor and indoor swimming pools and other highlights!
