In memory of the birthday of the Altaussee writer Barbara Frischmuth, and to open the literature park, there will be this special reading in the new event hall of Altaussee.

The newly designed Kurpark with the literature park in the heart of Altaussee will be opened on this day. On this festive occasion, a reading will take place in the new event hall of Altaussee.
On this evening, works by Barbara Frischmuth, Friedrich Torberg, Jakob Wassermann, and Hugo von Hofmannsthal will be read by the actor Serge Falck.
All these literati describe in their texts the deep connection to Altaussee, from which the reputation as a literature village has emerged.

The entrance tickets can be purchased at all information offices of the Ausseerland and in the online ticket shop of the TVB Ausseerland Salzkammergut .
Opening hours
The hall and the evening box office open at 7:00 PM. Drinks and snacks will be served in the reading room for a voluntary donation.
Additional information
The tickets do not have assigned seats. Each visitor is allowed to choose their seat freely. For this reason, early arrival is recommended.
