The 80s Beach Party Open Air takes place for the first time on the shores of Grundlsee and offers a diverse program in the style of the 1980s. Visitors can expect a variety of entertainment for the whole family, as well as a live concert by the band 7 for 80s in the unique setting of Grundlsee.
80s Beach Party Open Air celebrates premiere at Grundlsee
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, the 80s Beach Party Open Air will take place for the first time on the shores of Grundlsee, in the Gemeindepark. Against the impressive backdrop of lake and mountains, visitors can expect a diverse event program for the whole family, all in the spirit of the 1980s.
Starting at 3:00 p.m., a varied supporting program around the music pavilion will provide entertainment. The program includes a children's program, a pedal boat race in 80s style, an aerobics and hula-hoop session, a look-alike contest, a raffle, and a vehicle exhibition featuring cars from the 1980s. Special attractions include the cult vehicle KITT from the TV series Knight Rider and the red Ferrari from Magnum P.I..
The musical highlight will be the concert of the band 7 for 80s, starting at 8:15 p.m. With well-known hits and theme songs from the 1980s, accompanied by special guests and a large video show, the band will provide an atmospheric open-air experience.
Food and beverages will be available throughout the event. Additionally, Schifffahrt Grundlsee offers a themed transfer to the event.
With the premiere of the 80s Beach Party Open Air, a new summer event format is being created that expands the cultural offerings in the Ausseerland and captures the spirit of the 1980s.
