Exhibition: Erika & Gerhard Lojen
Vernissage of the exhibition by Erika and Gerhard Lojen at Kunsthaus Köflach, experience the works of these extraordinary artists, accompanied by music and inspiring introductory words.
Erika Lojen, who is known as a photographer with a special feel for light and atmosphere, shows works that bear witness to her search for light - also in a spiritual sense. Gerhard Lojen, born in Graz in 1935 and deceased in 2005, began his career as an architect, but soon devoted himself entirely to painting. As head of the painting masterclass at the Ortweinschule and co-founder of the renowned artists' association “Gruppe 77”, he left a lasting influence on the Austrian art world.
In this exhibition, the works of the two artists enter into dialogue with each other, driven by their shared love of art and their mutual inspiration. Visitors to the opening can immerse themselves in the world of the Lojens and experience the development and diversity of their artistic forms of expression. Accompanied by the sounds of Markus Weller (piano) & Julia Schnapper (vocals), the evening will be a special experience for the senses and invites you to linger and savour.
The exhibition offers an impressive opportunity to see the artistic legacy of Erika and Gerhard Lojen in the Graz Experience Region.
